SEEK Presents: Fall Fest

SEEK Presents: Fall Fest

By Mia Timlin

The week of Oct. 28-Nov. 1 will see a new addition to St. Kate’s roster of events. The introduction of a week-long Fall Fest will feature at least one (and sometimes more!) fall-themed activities for students to enjoy. The week is in part a collaboration with The Frey theater, which will be the space hosting several of the week's events.

The week will start with a kick-off Fall Ball which will take place in the Frey Theater from 6:30-9 p.m. SEEK encourages you to come dressed up in costumes for this event. There will be food, music and a photo booth!

Tuesday will host one event for those around on campus to join in the fun. Come out to the soccer fields for the 3 p.m. game against University of Wisconsin - Stout. Wear a costume to participate in a costume contest!

Wednesday, join SEEK in The Pulse for a claymation movie night from 7-9 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to experiment with their own air-dry clay art, while watching The Nightmare Before Christmas.

On Thursday, test out your fishing skills and participate in a Corn in a Tub game. The event will take place in the Dining Hall from 12-1 p.m. and all will have an opportunity to win some prizes! Later in the evening The Pulse will be hosting a Halloween-themed trivia night from 6-8 p.m. Stop by to play and try some spooky mocktails.

Friday’s Fall Fest Finale will take place outside the O'Shaughnessy from 1-5 p.m. The event will immediately follow the Presidential Inauguration taking place in the O’Shag from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. and will precede the Latinx Student Association’s Día de los Muertos event at 6 p.m. in the Ballroom. The Fall Fest Finale will include horse and carriage rides, a llama petting zoo, kettle corn, a s’mores bar, corn tub games, pumpkin painting and more.
