A photojournalistic look at the grand opening of the Queer Student Alliance’s new space

By M Yeager

On Wednesday, Oct. 4, the Queer Student Alliance (QSA) held an event to mark the official opening of the new queer space for students, located in CdC 355, after it was delayed from the week before. The event included a variety of crafts, such as painting, coloring and bracelet making, as well as decorating the whiteboards within the space and suggesting potential names for the room. A few sisters from the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet and queer St. Kate’s staff also attended the grand opening.
